Everyone likes to live in the fast lane. The only difference is this teenager is actually doing it. Prepare to be amazed while you are introduced to the next big thing in racing. His name is Kristian Kalch.
Welcome to Infinity Racing!
Are you ready for this? Imagine being only 16 years old and already having nine years of behind-the wheel-experience under your belt. Starting out with an off-road go cart, Kristian has been racing since he was seven years old. In his first race for Quarter Midget racing for Children at Pocono International Raceway, he won 1st place in the beginner's class. A few races later he was moved up to Junior Novice. Up until the time he was 14, Kristian moved from a 3 horsepower engine to a 5 horsepower engine in the Modified class and raced against NASCAR driver Ward Burton's son - beating him two years in a row. He has earned countless awards including one for the fastest time trial in his class, as well as four championships at the Kenny Hein Memorial race, 41st place wins, and numerous 2nd and 3rd place finishes. This year Kristian started racing stock cars at Mahoning Valley Speedway, where he races against drivers twice his age. Driving a 1987 Acura Integra, Kristian has raced his way to 5th in points out of 17 cars taking in three feature wins and 6 heat wins all while running a smaller engine then most of his fellow racers. Do you want to know a little secret? Three days before his first race, where he started in 16th place and finished in 8th, is where he learned to drive his 5 speed manual transmission. Along with racing his 4-cylinder, Kristian also practices driving his new 600-horsepower late model Ford Fusion Saturdays for three hours before racing his Acura. He does all this while still being a normal 15 year old!
